Manufactured Sand as fine aggregates for Concrete & Mortars

All M Sand supplied by Tavara shall consist of naturally occurring stones, gravel and sand or a combination therof. We ensure that the product provided will stand to true quality, clear and free from veins and adherent coatings.

Strength and durability

Aggregates shall not contain any harmful material, such as pyrites, coal, lignite, mica, shale or similar laminated material in any given quantity as to affect the strength of durability of the concrete.

Manufactured Sand as fine aggregates in Concrete (grades of M20, M30) and Cement mortars (ratio 1:4 and 1:6). Tests were conducted to study fresh and hardened properties of the Concrete and Mortars made with river and Manufactured Sand*.

Following are the Results that Concluded the Test

  • Grading limits of Manufactured Sand fell within the grading Zone-II of fine aggregates as specified in IS 383. The Shape of the Manufactured Sand particles resembled the shape of river sand particles. Bulk density and specific gravity of Manufactured Sand were comparable to those of river sand.
